Dustin Branham was born in Pikeville, Kentucky, and attended college at the University of Kentucky. While at the University of Kentucky, he double-majored in Economics and Finance. Also during his time in college, Dustin was a member of multiple national and international academic honor societies, participated in a variety of extra-curricular activities, and was honored with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude upon graduation. He later attended the University of North Carolina School of Law on an academic scholarship, and he graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 2007. Since that time he has practiced in the Charlotte area, primarily in the area of Family Law, helping clients navigate some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Dustin enjoys cycling, running, and world travel. He has ridden his bicycle across the state of Iowa, traveled to the farthest corners of the globe, and he always brings his running shoes wherever he goes. He enjoyed running along the ocean in Australia, getting up close and personal with elephants in Thailand, climbing to 14-thousand feet in Colorado and eating homemade pasta in Italy. Dustin is also an active environmental and bike advocate.
